The approach works for learners with a variety of learning styles. It's well thought-out and clear in its presentation. I've written Arabic instruction materials myself, and I must say, I'm a little jealous of the author's accomplishment! There are not many resources out there that can be used with or without an instructor. This book can serve either kind of learner well.
