I am a senior at Oregon Connections Academy and we have a 2009 edition of this text book printed just for my school. Overall I have to say that I love the pieces of literature gathered for this text book. I have looked up many different translations of the Anglo-Saxon poems that appear in this book such as "The Wife's Lament" and "Beowulf" and have found that these translations were among the best. The sections to help build skill are very concise and easy to understand but do not trivialize them. Overall, I love this text book.
