(More customer reviews)I was looking for a good reader's comprehension book to use on my third grader. This book is very short (4 to 5 sentences) paragraphs followed by 3 questions. I was looking for something a little longer. The topics in the book are fairly kid friendly and if you are just looking for something for you child to practice on for test taking purposes, I guess it's okay. The vocabulary is very simple (more like 1st or maybe 2nd grade) so there is nothing that your 3rd grader won't understand. Graphics are good and colorful, although they are mostly just covering blank parts of the page and not adding to the stories they illistrate. Just didn't seem like a 3rd grade leve. I'm going to use it for my 2nd grader.
