(More customer reviews)Unfortunately, the textbook that I use in my high school English classes does not offer an interesting, age apporpriate selection of nonfiction pieces. I purchased this book to help compensate for the lack of interesting essays in our textbook and was delighted to find that this anthology is organized with teachers in mind. Essays are organized by themes, a list of essays to compare/contrast is provided for convenience, and critical thinking and essay questions are provided at the end of each essay.
